Each release is unique – We distil our core drinking beer malt profiles into three distinct malt spirits. Each malt spirit is then aged in different cask finishes, which ensures each batch of Loch Single Malt Whisky will be individual from the next.
Each of our core ale malt profile whiskies pair perfectly with their matching ales. We believe this maybe the first time anywhere in the world that three distinctly different single malts have been made from the distinctly different ales from products made at the same premises!

Our take on this classic, combines our citrus laced G&T Gin with heavy lashings of Crème de Violette & Maraschino Liqueur. This release is the first in a trilogy of Oloroso sherry cask matured whiskies released to celebrate our cellar door's tenth birthday in June 2024.
Each whisky was made with a different malt profile (Pale Ale, County Ale & Dark Ale) & then each was matured in seperate ex-Oloroso sherry casks. The different malt profiles provide a different malt backbone to each whisky & showcases how important malt is to whisky making.
These three whiskies perfectly summarise our story from over twelve years ago to brew & distill under the one roof, ales & spirits sharing a common starting point.

First appearing in print as early as 1884, the origins of the Martinez's inception are up for debate. Some speculate legendary bartender Jerry Thomas (The Bar-Tender's Guide, 1887) invented it for a customer travelling to Martinez, however the Californian port city insists that a local bartender whipped it up first. Our take on this classic Manhattan / Martini hybrid, pairs our G&T gin with generous lashings of both sweet red and dry white vermouths, a touch of maraschino and a good dash of bitters to round off the mix. The result is this - a fresh and vibrant Martinez laced with soft juniper, dry cherry, and bright citrus.
